FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
By: Amos Jones, Contributing Editor, Diversity City

LONDON, Saturday, April 28, 2007 – Diversity City Founder Stuart Young today launched the service’s presentation and mentoring bureau, the D.C. Forum. Young ventured on invitation into the London borough of Brent, where he spoke for 30 minutes to a group of middle- and high-school-age students and then answered their questions. Addressing a special session of Global Graduates, an independent organization committed to empowering students from under-represented communities to attend university and enter professional careers in the City, Mr. Young talked about how he—as someone born and reared in Kentucky—was able to realize a number of opportunities both in London and in the United States.

"We're very happy to have Mr. Young participating with Global Graduates.  His expertise in the area of diversity in professional services and his unique experiences on both sides of the Atlantic will be a huge benefit to Global Graduate students," said Global Graduates Chief Executive, Yolanda Beckles.

Before an audience of 20, Young, who also earned a Masters degree from the London School of Economics and Political Science, outlined tips for getting into exclusive educational institutions, including Harvard, where he is pursuing the Doctor of Laws degree. Young also explained how to network, which is critical to establishing business relationships that add value both to the employee and the business, and how to get on the “fast-track” to the executive level once inside a business.

Young brings the latest and most effective theories and techniques from both Harvard Law School and Harvard Business School. In addition to partnering with Global Graduates, Young is available to speak to a number of students and organizations through the D.C. Forum. Young is also positioned to discuss diversity in a corporate context.
